PGP Norm Kromberg: A Lifetime of Brotherhood, Still Going Strong
Brother Kromberg is being honored for reaching the Centurion Giving Level, recognizing lifetime giving to the Fraternity 
of more than $100,000. It’s a fitting milestone for a brother whose name has been synonymous with service for more than three decades — not as a chapter of history, but as a chapter still being written.
He served as the Fraternity’s thirty-second Grand President from 1997 to 2001, then stayed on the Board as Past Grand President through 2005. But the titles only tell part of the story. What they don’t capture is a brother who, decades after
his term ended, still shows up: chairing task forces, sitting on committees, mentoring chapters through transitions few members ever see up close.
That “still showing up” is the real thread. Today, as an active member of the Lincoln/Greater Nebraska Alumni Chapter, he serves as Vice President-Finance — having already served the chapter as President and Vice President-Chapter Operations.
He’s also Chapter Receiver for Nebraska-Omaha and sits on the Foundation Board Development & Nominations Committee. Along the way, he’s attended more than 120 Deltasig events, including 22 Grand Chapter Congresses — a number that
reflects not obligation, but genuine devotion to the brotherhood.
That devotion hasn’t gone unnoticed. Brother Kromberg is a Silver Helmet Recipient and was named Delta Sigma Pi’s 2019 Lifetime Achievement Recipient, honoring a career of service, support, and fraternal and civic involvement that few can
match.
Brother Kromberg's wife Mary Moon, North Florida, is also a distinguished brother and Golden Council member. Professionally, that same drive shows up in his own venture: Norm is founder, CEO, and Chief Information Security Officer of SommIS LLC
— proof that the discipline and leadership he’s brought to Deltasig for over 25 years is the same discipline he’s built a business on.
For Norm Kromberg, brotherhood was never a chapter he closed…It’s one he’s still writing.
