Chapter Management Program (CMP)

Where accountability meets legacy — and your chapter’s “report card” becomes a roadmap for success.

Welcome to Delta Sigma Pi’s Chapter Management Program (CMP) the all-in-one report card, goal tracker, and growth plan for collegiate chapters. It’s how the Fraternity helps chapters stay on track, stay accountable, and stay excellent.

Whether you’re a brand-new Deltasig, a campus partner, or just DSP-curious, here’s the inside scoop.

The Philosophy of CMP

If you remember nothing else, remember this:

  • CMP is your roadmap.
  • Your health evaluation is your compass.
  • Your members are your legacy.

Healthy chapters don’t just check boxes — they build culture, grow leaders, and leave a legacy that lasts beyond graduation.

What is Chapter Health?

Think of chapter health like a chapter’s overall wellness check-up — a big-picture look at how they are functioning in core areas that keep a chapter strong and thriving:

  1. Officer Management and Training
  2. Member Management
  3. Recruitment and Pledge Education
  4. Chapter Planning and Governance
  5. Fiscal Management
  6. Events and Member Education

Why This Matters

This isn’t just a checklist. CMP proves that Delta Sigma Pi is more than just a club. It’s a professionally-run, values-based organization with accountability, tradition, and vision.

It’s about:

  • Teaching real-world leadership and accountability
  • Creating a smooth officer transition culture
  • Making sure brothers get real value from membership
  • Money being managed responsibly
  • Risk managed proactively
  • Keeping the Fraternity’s legacy, rituals, and safety policies strong
  • Giving chapters a clear GPS: “Here’s where we are, and here’s how we get better.”
  • Members are being developed as ethical business leaders

And that’s what sets Delta Sigma Pi apart.

Each area is evaluated on a scale:

Health Level What it Means
Exceptional Health You're thriving. Exceeding expectations. Leading the pack.
Strong Health You're solid. Consistently meeting expectations.
Marginal Health You're okay...but need support in a few spots.
Poor Health You're missing key expectations and need help getting back on track.
Unhealthy You're in need of some intentional direction from volunteer and staff to "the right ship."
Fun fact: Even if something isn’t perfect, submitting something is always better than submitting nothing. Momentum > perfection.

Details regarding CMP may be found in the Fraternity’s comprehensive CMP Guide. Chapter officers access CMP reports, forms, and submissions through the Hub. Members or administrators who are not currently officers in a collegiate chapter may view CMP Status Reports online.
