Deltasigs Transform and Expand Their Skills at the 2026 LEAD Provincial Conferences

Aug 20, 2026 – More than 1,200 brothers traveled to Virginia Beach, Va., Long Beach, Calif., Cincinnati, Providence, R.I., and San Antonio at the 2026 LEAD Provincial Conferences in the spring.

Each LEAD Provincial Conference kicked off with a Friday networking event full of dynamic networking conversation inspired by the 50‑year anniversary of women initiates in our Fraternity. A special thank you to the Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce for also hosting a Friday night networking event at the Northeastern LEAD.

On Saturday, attendees enjoyed hearing from a variety of speakers. Members heard from Janice Litvin on his keynote session Banish Burnout: Move from Stress to Success at the Western LEAD. During the Southern LEAD, Dr. Tracy Powell guided attendees through the session Time Mastery to Prevent Burnout. Irvine Nugent led attendees through the session Positive Leadership Through Conflict Management at the North Central and Northeastern LEADs, and at the South Central LEAD, Rita Goodroe led members through her Create Your Own Path: Make a REAL Impact in Business and Leadership session.

Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed breakout sessions focused on how to develop a growth mindset, leadership training and how to thrive in change. Speakers presented topics like strategic planning, mastering negotiation, chapter engagement and exploring different entrepreneurial paths. On Saturday, attendees were asked to spotlight members to celebrate 50 years of women initiates in the Fraternity, which resulted in over 320 Deltasigs highlighted!

Members were recognized for their outstanding achievements including Helmet and donor awards and chapter, regional and provincial Collegians for the Year were celebrated at all events with Jacob Perry, Roger Williams (RI), being named National Collegian of the Year in Providence, R.I. Brother Shamim Mohammad was honored with Delta Sigma Pi’s 2024 Career Achievement Award during a reception at the 2026 South Central LEAD Provincial Conference in San Antonio.

Provincial Council Meetings were held at each event, and business conducted included legislation for Bylaw and Ritual changes, provincial budgets and more. Deltasigs also engaged with Delta Sigma Pi partners including The Fund for American Studies, Enterprise Mobility, and OFFER.

At each event, members and chapters participated in different community service opportunities to support literacy, Deltasig’s national service initiative. This included collecting books and creating bookmarks for local service organizations and decorating welcome cards for the Cincinnati Ronald McDonald House. Thank you to those who engaged in service and made a large impact on our national service initiative.

After attending a LEAD, participants are encouraged to add the LEAD LinkedIn Certification to their profiles by scanning the QR code during the event. Over 550 attendees scanned the QR code for the 2026 LEAD Provincial Conferences!
