When Jacob found out he was selected as the 2026 National COY, it felt completely unreal.
“I was so excited to find out and since then, I’ve been wanting to tell everyone, because it feels like all my work for my chapter and the Fraternity has paid off. Now, I can continue to serve nationally,” said Jacob.
He first decided to join Delta Sigma Pi to network and meet people, but he never suspected the Fraternity would end up shaping his college experience. Since his initiation into Nu Sigma Chapter, Jacob has served as chancellor, vice president-pledge education,
and president.
Brother Perry has attended 10 events and especially enjoyed national events like the 2023 and 2025 Grand Chapter Congress. Specifically, one of his favorite memories was during the 2023 Grand Chapter Congress in Houston where he enjoyed “hanging
out at the social event (Stampede Houston) with all the new friends and connections I made during GCC.” More recently, Jacob said “smaller events like the 2025 Boston LEAD Summit helped me connect better with our brothers and form stronger
working relationships.”
Outside of the Fraternity, Brother Perry currently works as a business and math tutor for Roger Williams University. Jacob is an accounting and finance major and plans to start as an audit associate at KPMG Providence after graduating in May 2026. Some
of his hobbies include collecting Pokemon cards, playing guitar or video games, and racing go-karts.
Jacob is excited to bring his ideas and vision to Delta Sigma Pi and contribute to the growth of the Fraternity as well as the collegiate membership experience.
Congratulations to our 2026 National Collegian of the Year, Jacob Perry!
