Gamma Psi Brother and Family Create Award-Winning Holiday Display

Dec 08, 2022 – David Pratt and his brothers have a winning entry on The Great Christmas Light Fight reality show.

Who doesn't love a dynamic holiday display? And, who hasn't felt a twinge of envy when their neighbor one-ups their December lightshow? The ABC reality-TV show The Great Christmas Light Fight touches on people's passion for over-the-top Christmas displays.

David Pratt, Arizona, along with his brothers Kyle and Sammy and a host of helpers, debuted their first Yuletide extravaganza, Christmas Forever, at their home in 2015, and grew into a mega-sized explosion of light and sound that resides at Mesa, AZ's Bell Park and is hyped as "The Biggest Christmas Celebration in Arizona." The nighttime spectacular included a 100-foot-wide gingerbread house, over 500,000 computer-programmed lights, a ride-on attraction, music, pyrotechnics, fog jets, special stage effects, and video-projection mapping. Publications serving the Phoenix area have named it the region's best holiday display, and the Pratts' handiwork has appeared on Good Morning America.

On the show, the Pratts competed against three other displays from across the U.S., and the show's judges announced the Pratt's display as the show's winner.

Congratulations to David, the Pratt family and everyone who contributed to making the season brighter for The Grand Canyon State.
