Deltasigs to Receive Milestone Recognition at Southern LEAD

Feb 03, 2022 – Join us in celebrating the following Deltasigs who will be recognized at the 2022 Southern LEAD Provincial Conference in Raleigh.

Thank you to the following Silver Helmets recipients for their 25 years of dedicated service to Delta Sigma Pi.

Shannon Marie Berry was initiated into Delta Xi at East Tennessee State University in April 1996. She currently serves as District Director for East Carolina Colony and as Assistant DD for Sigma Tau at Duke. She also currently serves on the Southern Provincial Professional Development Committee as well as a National Bylaws Reviewer. Previously, she was also DD for Xi Upsilon at Marshall University, Delta Xi at East Tennessee State University and Epsilon Psi at Christian Brothers University and was named National District Director of the Year in 2005. Brother Berry has been active with numerous alumni chapters including ones in Johnson City (TN), Knoxville (TN) and Columbus (OH) and is also currently involved in a group working to form a new alumni chapter in the Greenville, NC area. Shannon Marie has attended more than 20 events since initiation and is a longtime donor to the Leadership Foundation. Professional, she serves as Pastor of Fremont United Methodist Church, in Fremont, NC, and is also working on her dissertation for her Doctorate in Ministry.  

Kyle Bischoff initiated into Nu Pi at Kennesaw State in 1996. He currently serves as Central Gulf Regional Vice President and also on the Southern Provincial Discipline Committee. Prior to serving as RVP, Kyle served as a District Director for Tau Phi at Jacksonville State and Nu Pi at Kennesaw State. He has also served on both the Central Gulf Regional Awards Committee, including as chair, and on the National Scholastic Development and Awards Committee. Kyle is an active member of the Birmingham-Magic City Alumni Chapter, has attended nearly 20 national events, including four GCCs, and is a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation. Kyle lives outside of Birmingham, Alabama with his wife Krista and step-son Andrew and is a concierge travel planner for Off to Neverland Travel.

Carrie Burns was initiated into Alpha Tau at Mercer University in November 1995. Carrie served as Southern Provincial Vice President from 2017 until 2021. During that time, she also served on the Member Development Group on the Pandemic Task Force. She has also served as Southeastern Regional Vice President and District Director for Tau Psi at Coastal Carolina and Alpha Tau at Mercer and is an active supporter of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter. Brother Burns has attended over 50 events, including eight Grand Chapter Congresses. She is also a supporter of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation, recognized with the Entrepreneur Lifetime Giving Level, and is now a member of the Deltasig Investors Roundtable. Carrie lives in Downtown Atlanta with her husband Steven and two fur babies Sherlock & Watson. She recently started a new chapter of her life as the Director of Marketing at Arival, helping to connect, educate, and inspire tour operators, activities, attractions, and experiences around the world.
