The program offers three scholarships—valued at $2,000 each—exclusively to Delta Sigma Pi members. In addition to the special Delta Sigma Pi scholarships, 40 full scholarships are available for Summer 2019, and 70% of students receive additional funding based on merit and financial need! Summer Sagram, a Deltasig from Florida State who interned at CSX Corporation, Inc. through the Institute, says, “My internship helped solidify my answer to the question 'What do I want to do with my life?' I gained invaluable experience, expanded my professional network and represented my company proudly."
Throughout the program, you receive a rigorous combination of professional experience and academic learning that provides you with an unparalleled experience in the nation's capital. Each two-month summer session includes:

- Class Credit – Students receive up to nine transferable credits in business and political science from George Mason University.
- Housing – Students live in furnished housing on George Washington University's downtown campus.
- Guest Lectures and Panels – Speakers include lobbyists and former congressmen.
- Site Briefings - At the State Department, Capitol Hill, White House Eisenhower Executive Office Building, and the Ronald Reagan International Trade Building, students get insight into how government and business intersect.
- Leadership and Professional Development - Mentoring and career building activities foster leadership skills and prepare students for future careers.
- Networking – The program offers networking opportunities with hundreds of other top student and business leaders from around the world.
How to Apply
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the final deadline of March 12. Apply by January 15 to be considered for full scholarships to the program. Those that apply by the priority deadline of February 12 receive priority consideration for admission and partial scholarships. Delta Sigma Pi members must indicate their Delta Sigma Pi affiliation on application materials to be eligible for the special scholarships. Additional scholarships are also available based on merit and financial need.
