Alpha Psi Reactivated at University of Chicago

Nov 18, 2019 – We are excited to welcome back the Alpha Psi Chapter, reactivated at the University of Chicago this weekend.

The reactivation took place on campus at the University of Chicago's Saieh Hall for Economics. After, newly initiated brothers, Fraternity leaders and guests met at The Revival, a theater in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood for a luncheon.

According to Great Lakes Regional Vice President Nicole Orlando, "The colony has overcome challenges to recruiting students on the University of Chicago campus. Historically, professional business fraternities have not been prominent on campus and instead most students participate in non-fraternal organizations that focus on specific fields of business. The colony clearly communicated the benefits of Delta Sigma Pi membership and differentiated the Fraternity from other organizations on campus during recruiting events."

Leaders in attendance included Grand President Tricia Smith, North Central Provincial Vice President Cory Stopka, Vice President-Finance Jodi Schoh, Great Lakes Regional Vice President Nicole Orlando, 2018 COY Travis Brodbeck, District Directors Jillian Holtzer, Thomas LeNoir, Jeff Winther, Mikey Mayers and Lauren Finnegan and other dedicated Golden Council and Albany Upstate New York Alumni Chapter members.

You can support the Alpha Psi Chapter with a tax-deductible donation to their Chapter Leadership Fund managed by the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation to assist students attending LEAD Schools, LEAD Provincial Conferences and Grand Chapter Congress.
