Ideas to Celebrate #NRCW

Feb 28, 2019 – Plan to celebrate National Ritual Celebration Week March 4-8!

As a Deltasig, you know what our Fraternity means and what we stand for as a brotherhood. During National Ritual Celebration Week (NRCW), take the time to reflect on what it means to be a member of Delta Sigma Pi, and remember what it means to live our purpose and Ritual. Our tips below are here to help you out (no matter how busy your schedule is)!

  • Wear your Delta Sigma Pi badge on Monday (#BadgeDay) and consider updating your badge to a jeweled badge or ordering a guard to safeguard from losing it.
  • Wear or display your Greek letters on Tuesday (#GreekLetterDay) or order new Deltasig gear from an official licensed vendor.
  • Show your pride for Delta Sigma Pi by wearing purple and gold on Wednesday (#PurpleAndGoldDay).
  • Attend a chapter meeting or event. If you can't make an event this week, make plans to attend a chapter's spring Initiation Ceremony, a local Alumni Day event or Grand Chapter Congress.
  • Take a moment to reflect YOUR Deltasig purpose, and share your story with family and friends in person or on social media using #NRCW. Encourage other brothers to do the same.
  •  Support your local community or Delta Sigma Pi's national service initiative, Ronald McDonald House Charities, by collecting pop tabs, wish list items or money and donating them to a local Ronald McDonald House. Thursday is #CommunityDay.
  • Enroll in the Deltasig For Life Donor program. These automatic monthly or quarterly donations via credit/debit card are an easy and convenient way to support Fraternity programs throughout your lifetime.
  •  Show appreciation to another brother who has helped you over the years by taking them lunch, giving them a rose (Friday is #RoseDay) or buying them a coffee. Too busy or far apart? Not to worry! You can send a Starbucks eGift Card and show your appreciation no matter how many miles apart you are!
  • Pay it forward. Offer to mentor a collegian or young alumni member.
  • SHARE HOW YOU CELEBRATED with magazine@dsp.org
