About the Presenter:

dale-clark[1]Dale M. Clark, Longwood (VA), is the Senior Director of Membership Growth and Expansion at Delta Sigma Pi's national headquarters. Dale is originally from South Boston, VA.  He received a BSBA in Marketing from Longwood University, holds two AAS degrees in Management and Merchandising, and has a certificate in Membership Marketing from the American Society of Association Executives. Having visited over 500 college and university campuses, he coordinates the Delta Sigma Pi expansion initiatives and colony development, along with support for chapters’ membership sustainability. He previously coordinated the visiting chapter consultation program and risk management education for 26 years and the former Chapter Efficiency Index for 10 years and was a 25-year member of the Association of Fraternity Advisors and representative to Fraternal Law. He participated in a national hazing research team and has served on or been liaison to numerous committees and task forces including Awards, Ritual, Diversity, Pledge Education, and Community Service. He is a Certified Deltasig Leader and recipient of the Silver Helmet Award.

Prior to joining Central Office staff in 1992, he served as a Regional Director (now called Regional Vice President) for 3 years and has been a member of the Richmond, VA and Cincinnati, OH alumni chapters.  For 11 years he was employed with Belk Stores and won their Pacesetter Award while serving as Merchandise Buyer and Division Manager. He was also a part-time radio DJ which developed from doing radio advertisements for Belk. For over 14 years, he was a camp counselor and telethon volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and has been an accredited volunteer in the hospital Emergency Room and Cardiac Care unit. He is a certified pageant judge with the Miss America organization and has served numerous leadership and financial positions in his church.  Hobbies include touring lighthouses and collecting lighthouse memorabilia, vintage post cards, piano, gardening, cats, church activities, photography, antiques, and reading college histories.
