As the Senior Meeting & Event Specialist, Samantha is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events for
the organization to ensure a seamless experience for all attendees. She supports Fraternity engagement and communication efforts
to enhance the attendee experience at Delta Sigma Pi events.
Samantha has more than 20 years of professional event management experience, with a career spanning corporate conferences, nonprofit and philanthropic events, social events, and large-scale productions across regional and national markets.
Throughout her career, Samantha has managed the full lifecycle of events, from venue sourcing and contract negotiations to hotel accommodations, transportation, catering, audiovisual services, meeting space, vendor management, budgeting and onsite operations.
In her previous role as a conference event planner with Events On Call, she managed large-scale corporate conferences and multi-day programs serving 500 to more than 2,500 attendees within the IT business sector. She also served as founder and director
of Sales & Events for Soiréebliss Events, where she led full-service planning and execution for more than 50 events annually across the corporate, social and nonprofit sectors.
Currently, she is completing her bachelor’s of science degree in business administration at Western Governors University. She is also pursuing the Certified Meeting Professional designation through the Events Industry Council as part of her continued
professional development with plans of pursuing her MBA.
Outside of her professional life, Samantha is a lifelong endurance athlete who has competed in marathons, half and full IRONMAN races both domestically and internationally. She is also passionate about service and advocacy and has volunteered with organizations
including Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. In 2018, Samantha became a living kidney donor to her spouse and continues to volunteer for the Kidney Foundation. She is a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority.
