Fraternity Board Meeting Minutes in Seconds

    Actions:

    • Approved 2025-26 Operating Budget setting dues at $55 per member per fall/spring and initiation fees at $85.  Additional fee breakdown can be found on the Fraternity Operations available online.
    • Granted policy exceptions that would allow the franchising of a corporate-focused alumni chapter as a temporary pilot program (to run through GCC 2027) that would allow for learning and further development of a new style of alumni chapter.
    • Approved use of already-budgeted board meeting funds to conduct a joint “Board Academy” for the Fraternity and Foundation Boards.
    • Beginning the 2026-27 fiscal year, budgeted volunteer travel provincial allocations will be based on number of chapters in the province and distance of those chapters, as determined by the finance committee on July 1 of each year. There will be no changes for the upcoming 2025-26 fiscal year.
    • Increased COY volunteer travel allocation from $500 to $1,000 per National COY to match other Board members.
    • Approved 2023-24 Set Aside Resolution per IRS regulations in the amount of $418,474.
    • Acknowledged receipt of 2023-24 Audit.
    • Directed the Executive Director to seek a contract with intent to engage Forvis Mazars for the purpose of an operational assessment of the Fraternity’s monthly close and reporting process, allocating $10,400 to the Special Projects Budget.
    • Reviewed National Committee restructure recommendations and provided feedback to the National Organizational Development Committee.
    • Revoked the charter of Upsilon Chi (California Lutheran) due to loss of institutional recognition and abandonment.
    • Revoked the charter of Delta Pi (Nevada-Reno) due to abandonment.
