Lisa Brown Named National Organizational Development Chair

Dec 02, 2019 – Lisa, Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, steps into this role with years of experience having served consistently in national leadership positions since 2009.

Throughlisaout her time as a Deltasig, Lisa has served in countless positions, including: 
  • Western Provincial Vice President (2009-2013)
  • Bay Area Regional Vice President (2005-2009 and 2015-2017)
  • National Committee Chair - Professional Development (2017-2019)
  • National Committee Chair - Scholastic Development and Awards (2013-2015)
  •  National Professional Development Committee Member (2015-2017)
  • Provincial Awards Committee Member (2015-2017)
  • CEI Task Force Chair 
  • District Director for nearly 10 California chapters spanning 20 years
  • VPF and VPCO for Kappa Mu at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo
In addition to her countless leadership roles, Lisa has attended 20 LEAD Schools (including Portland this fall), 26 LEAD Provincial Conferences, the inaugural Presidents' Academy and 11 Grand Chapter Congresses. 

Lisa and her husband Chuck actively support the Leadership Foundation (Chuck having served as Trustee for many years) and have reached the Entrepreneur Level of cumulative giving ($10,000 - $24,900). 

Brother Brown played major roles in Presidents' Academy development, creation of CMP from CEI performance awards, setting new E-learning content and expansion in the Western Province including new chapters in Washington and Hawaii. 

In her new role, Lisa will be responsible for the following important Fraternity platforms:
  • Reviewing/updating national committee responsibility
  • Furthering the Strategic Priorities 
  • Enhancing the Pledge Education Program
  • Aiding the Delta Sigma Pi Board of Directors in achieving their goals 
Professionally, Lisa is the Head of Mobile App Development - IT Services Enterprise Mobility for SAP, where she manages software engineers and project managers, mentors and coaches team members, oversees mobile projects and more. She has been with the company for over seven years, serving in her current role for five.
