Fall Fun with Saginaw Valley State

Oct 30, 2015 – FREELAND, Mich.—The Mu Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi at Saginaw Valley State enjoyed a social outing to Leaman's Green Applebarn.

At Leaman's, 23 brothers and 13 pledges toured the property on a hayride and picked apples. Afterwards, they navigated the corn maze and played icebreaker games.  The property has been in the Leaman family for 125 years and seven generations, and brothers and pledges alike enjoyed the Leaman’s cider and donuts.
This outing was a great opportunity to show the pledges that the Fraternity isn’t all business, but there’s fun to be had also! It was also a chance for potential big brothers and little brothers to connect with each other.
The chapter also worked with Leaman’s student coordinator to ensure the outing would run smoothly. Mu Phi is currently in the early stages of planning a similar event to help the next pledge class bond with brothers, such as going to Snowfest in Frankenmuth, Michigan.
