Outstanding Service Award for Collegiate Chapters

Truman State Iota Nu

Delta Sigma Pi presents the Outstanding Service Award annually to the collegiate chapter that implements the most effective and comprehensive program of service to others. In addition to a national winner, the Fraternity also recognizes regional and provincial recipients of this award.

Chapters receiving the award are recognized at Grand Chapter Congress or a LEAD School and in The DELTASIG. Winning chapters also receive a certificate commemorating their selection.

Application

Collegiate chapter officers apply for the Outstanding Service Award via the Hub Awards Module. All applications must be received by June 1 for consideration—no late applications are accepted or reviewed—and must contain the following information:

  • Documentation of all community service events and activities including:
    • The national program initiative—such as Ronald McDonald House or Make A Difference Day—the chapter participated in, as required to be considered for this award.
    • Attendance numbers, where applicable.
    • Audiences served or results achieved.
    • The chapter’s role in the event.
  • Other relevant supporting items, such as photos of chapter functions, newspaper articles, letters, and the like, as available.
