Outstanding Alumni Relations Award for a Collegiate Chapter

The Delta Sigma Pi collegiate chapter that most thoroughly integrates an aspect of alumni relations into overall operations receives the annual Outstanding Alumni Relations Award. In addition to the national winner, Delta Sigma Pi recognizes regional and provincial winners of the award.

Chapters receiving the award are recognized at Grand Chapter Congress or a fall LEAD School and in The DELTASIG. Winning chapters also receive a certificate commemorating their selection.

Application

Collegiate chapter officers apply for the Outstanding Alumni Relations Award via the Hub Awards Module. All applications must be received by June 1 for consideration—no late applications are accepted or reviewed—and must contain the following information:

  • Participation in Alumni Day, as required for receiving the award
  • A thorough description of all events and activities planned by the chapter that involved Delta Sigma Pi alumni including:
  • A description of collegiate chapter participation in events and activities planned by the local alumni chapter.
  • A description of communication strategies and methods used to inform and educate collegiate chapter members about alumni chapter events and how alumni chapters continue to support the Fraternity and the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation.
  • A description of communication strategies and methods used to inform and educate alumni members about collegiate chapter events.
  • The percentage and number of lost alumni that were found during the year.
  • Other relevant supporting items, such as photos of chapter functions, newspaper articles, letters, and the like, as available.
