Mike joined the Central Office April 2026 as Manager of Communication and Shared Services. He is responsible for leading the communications and administrative support teams. This role focuses on shaping and delivering the Fraternity’s brand identity while overseeing operations across administrative services, facilities, and event support.
Mike has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Iowa-Iowa-City. Previously, he worked as fund development and marketing manager at Voices for Children in Nebraska where he managed the fund development program, and the marketing and communication efforts. Since 2001, he’s owned the communications and marketing company, Watkins Marketing & Media. At Watkins Marketing & Media, he provides a variety of services to clients, including writing and editing, media relations, marketing, and digital marketing.
