Outstanding Scholastic Development Award for a Collegiate Chapter

Truman State Iota Nu

Delta Sigma Pi presents the Outstanding Scholastic Development Award on an annual basis. The winning chapter plans and implements the most effective and comprehensive program of scholastic development. The Fraternity recognizes national, regional, and provincial winners for this award.

Chapters receiving the award are recognized at Grand Chapter Congress or a LEAD School and in The DELTASIG. Winning chapters also receive a certificate commemorating their selection.

Application

Collegiate chapter officers apply for the Outstanding Scholastic Development Award via the Hub Awards Module. All applications must be received by June 1 for consideration—no late applications are accepted or reviewed—and must contain the following information:

  • A description of all chapter events and activities aimed at promoting scholarship and academic achievement. Attendance numbers should be included where applicable.
  • The number of chapter members on the Dean’s List each term.
  • The number of chapter members who have applied for and/or received scholarships from the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation.
  • The number of chapter members who have received non-Deltasig scholarships and a list of those scholarships.
  • Other relevant supporting items, such as photos of chapter functions, newspaper articles, letters, and the like, as available.
