The 56th Grand Chapter Congress (GCC) is August 6-10, 2025 in Palm Springs!

Grand Chapter Congress offers an experience like nothing else.  Imagine hundreds of Deltasigs in one place: learning, leading, and socializing.

Held in odd-numbered years, Grand Chapter Congress conducts the business of the Fraternity, offers educational programming of interest to collegians and alumni alike, and presents opportunities to meet, greet, and interact with brothers from across the country.

A listing of current registrants (name and chapter only) is available for easy reference. 

Registration

Registration grants attendees access to all GCC sessions and events (except for member only sessions for guests) and full registration is required for all delegates, alternates and for Congress chapter travel award calculations. For those who are not able to attend the entire event, per day registration is available. Please ensure you have registered for all the days you wish to participate in at Congress. If you partially registered and wish to upgrade your registration, please call 513-523-1907 or email registration@dsp.org for assistance. 

Pricing is based on registration deadline and member type. Special rates are available until March 1, 2025; Early rates are available until June 1, 2025; Advance rates are available until July 1, 2025. 

Registration Deadlines and Cost 

A full registration grants attendees to all Congress activities (except for member only events for spouses and guests). For those who are not able to attend the entire event, per day registration is available.

Registration Policies 

Cancelled registrations will be refunded in full, less a 10% processing charge per person, if the cancellation request is received by July 7. Cancellations must be requested online. All cancellation requests received after July 7 are not eligible for any refund. If your registration was paid by chapter check or someone else, the refund will be payable to that entity. Refunds will be made as promptly as possible; however, those canceling near Congress will experience a delay due to staffing limitations. 

Transfer of registrations should be submitted online by the original registrant. A service fee paid by the new registrant will be incurred at the time of registration. Service fees for transfers are $30 for Grand Chapter Congress and transfer requests should be submitted by the original registrant.

While the days of GCC stay the same as past years, running from Wednesday, August 6 through Sunday, August 10, the schedule has been updated to assist attendees with the resort nature and remote location of our host hotel. We have also added lunch on Wednesday and breakfast on Saturday—a total of five meals included in the registration rate along with snacks at each evening activity.

Getting There

Arrival and Departure Suggestions

Ideal arrival time is Tuesday, August 5. Grand Chapter Congress “proper” begins Wednesday, August 6, with the Welcome and State of Delta Sigma Pi beginning at 9:00 a.m.  Delegate Orientation is Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. All Delegates and Alternates must attend this session. The Saturday Grand Banquet and Dance is the final scheduled Congress event.  Departure should be planned no sooner than Sunday, August 10.  More details will be available on the Schedule.   

Airport Transportation

Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) - The closest airport to hotel is Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), the distance from hotel property will be 12.2 Miles. Note: This hotel does not provide any shuttle service.

From the airport, downtown Palm Springs is about a 6-minute drive. Other airports are at least an hour away. Anyone traveling from within the US or Canada could find nonstop flights to Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) from many major cities.

Arrive By Car

As long as you can connect with US Interstate 10 (I-10), you can easily drive to Greater Palm Springs. The region is a surprisingly quick getaway from many large metropolitan areas in the Southwest.

In planning for your convention expenses, there are several additional items that you should consider. Your personal costs will include lodging, meals which are not part of the convention program, your transportation to and from the Palm Springs area and hotel, car service or bus fares, tips, snacks, drinks, souvenirs and other incidental expenses.  

 

Special Accommodations

Delta Sigma Pi wants to accommodate your needs, including any special dietary needs, as best as reasonably possible. If you did not already do so when registering, please communicate any detailed requests as soon as possible (no later than August 1) to registration@dsp.org. On-site requests may not be able to be accommodated satisfactorily and there may be an additional charge in order to meet certain requests.

 

Banquet Seating

There is an opportunity to request who you would like to sit with at the banquet by completing this form by Saturday, July 19. Table assignments will be made available during Congress and will be based on first come-first serve and are based on availability. You may email banquet@dsp.org with any other questions. There will be a Banquet Seating table set up during Congress for attendees to view table assignments and make any changes. All persons you wish to sit with must also indicate in their request that they also wish to sit with you.  

 

Alcohol Policies

The legal drinking age is 21. Attendees should be prepared to present valid personal identification as requested. It is recommended to have two picture identifications with you.

Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase by those of legal age (21) for their own consumption at various Grand Chapter Congress events. These beverages will be served by hotel management personnel who will enforce the minimum drinking age. The cash bar will accept cash or credit.

Child Care

No formal “youth programs” or childcare will be arranged by the Fraternity. The hotel does not offer babysitting services. The Fraternity does not endorse or recommend any service.

WHAT TO WEAR

Resort and business casual attire may be worn for educational sessions, business meetings, and lunches throughout the week. Please note that some meeting rooms may be cool so please plan accordingly.

Deltasig letters or other casual attire may be worn for Wednesday’s Arcade Extravaganza and Thursday’s Comedy Night.

We encourage attendees to dress in purple or pink for our 50 Years of Women Celebration on Saturday afternoon.

Professional attire (traditionally a suit or dress) is required for the Saturday Banquet and Dance. Some of the Board of Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, staff, and others may wear formal attire for the Banquet, but it is not required (see below).

Roommates

If you are looking for a roommate for Congress, email registration@dsp.org your name, age, gender, school, email and phone number. Staff will accumulate the data and forward it to others seeking roommates. It is your responsibility to follow-up with contacts, make a hotel reservation, etc. Delta Sigma Pi assumes no responsibility or liability regarding this optional service.  

 

Safety

During the summer months, it is easy to become dehydrated. Drink plenty of water and juices (caffeine and alcohol dehydrate even more) and be conscious of high temperatures. Seek assistance if you’re not feeling well or chilling when in the heat – heat stroke is a serious risk for everyone. Water is good for you!

Remember, there is safety in numbers so always travel in groups.  We want your Congress experience to be pleasant and memorable. Use common sense and be alert.
