Greenwood Village, one of the locations for the 2023 Fall LEAD Schools, is situated in Arapahoe County, immediately south of Denver. The town incorporated in 1950 but retained its open feel with more than 300 acres of parks and 100 acres of undeveloped open space. Once primarily a rural community, Greenwood Village has developed into a dynamic blend of urban and residential areas, to include nationally recognized business parks and select neighborhood associations.
