Community Service:
Participate in the Northeastern Book Drive! Bring a book (new or good condition) to donate to Providence Books Through Bars - a volunteer non-profit organization who provides free reading material for incarcerated people nationwide. Books are crucial for education, self-fulfillment, entertainment and community-building. They represent a lifeline for prisoners with few resources and let incarcerated people know that they are not forgotten.
- Most requested genres: fantasy/sci-fi and thrillers/mysteries (But all are accepted)
- Only paperback books can be accepted
- We are challenging brothers to bring at least THREE books to donate per chapter! We will be announcing which region and chapter donated the most books at the banquet!
Provincial Council Meeting:
This event also includes meetings of Delta Sigma Pi’s provincial councils, during which the proposed changes to bylaws and the Fraternity Ritual are discussed and voted on.
To submit a recommendation for an upcoming Provincial Council meeting, please use our recommendation template. All recommendations must be submitted to the Northeastern Provincial Vice President by January 6.
Alternates—selected in the event that alumni or collegiate chapter presidents are unable to attend Provincial Council meetings—may be reported via the Hub.
