Inter-Greek Pledge Fundraiser

Nov 01, 2015 – KINGSVILLE, Texas—Pledges of Delta Sigma Pi’s Zeta Nu Chapter at Texas A&M-Kingsville University with members from Chi Beta Delta Sorority held a car wash fundraiser.
Zeta Nu    The car wash raised funds for the pledges to attend initiation in Houston, and Chi Beta Delta donated proceeds to a breast cancer awareness fund. After the pledges’ own fundraiser was cancelled due to inclement weather, Kaleigh Martinez, a pledge of Delta Sigma Pi, suggested teaming up with the sorority to meet new people and raise money.
Beginning at 9 a.m., at a local AutoZone, the pledges and members of Chi Beta Delta washed cars for five hours. The pledges bonded while making memories, networking and connecting with the sisters of Chi Beta Delta. The pledge class showed perseverance and initiative by turning a negative situation into a successful carwash.
The pledge class also plans to collaborate with other organizations, fraternities and sororities to make new connections and friends. Best of luck to the pledges as they become bright and ambitious members of Delta Sigma Pi.
