Are you worried that there’s not enough time to plan? This session is designed to provide you with tools to effectively and efficiently plan your chapter events. The tips and tools presented will relieve those stressors and make event planning easy! Participants will have the opportunity to share their success stories and lessons learned during idea sharing small group breakouts.

About the Presenter:

Maria Ramos is the founder of Innovative Meetings, LLC, and a certified meeting professional (CMP). Prior to establishing Innovative Meetings, Maria served in the association industry in marketing and meeting planner capacities. A servant leader in her community and network, Maria has over 20 years in the meetings industry, and has produced events, meetings and conventions spanning the social, medical and association industries.  As an independent planner, Maria engages with colleagues throughout the events industry, collaborating on large-scale conventions and events. Known for her extensive project management experience, Maria has systematically created custom planning strategies for all of her clients. Her expertise in creating and implementing standard operating logistical procedures and for annual events. Maria was initiated at Nu Sigma (Roger Williams), is a Silver Helmet awardee, and serves on the National Professional Development Committee. Born and raised in Southern New Jersey, Maria resides in Mt Royal wither her family. She is the proud wife and mother to her triathlete husband, Ron, and their 11-year-old daughter, Jacquelyn.
