Deltasigs to Receive Helmets at Grand Chapter Congress

Golden Helmets

William "Bill" G. Loventhal III, Georgia State, has been a 50-year dues paying member of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter, regularly attending business meetings and events, including the chapter's annual picnic and Founders' Day event. He has also served as a professional speaker for the chapter on numerous occasions to talk about his career at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance company. Bill attended the 2007 Grand Chapter Congress and he is a supporter of the Leadership Foundation. 

Michael J. Tillar, Cincinnati, is an active member of the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter and regularly gathers with brothers from "the good old days." After college, Mike joined Central Office staff as a chapter consultant and then stayed on to serve as Assistant Executive Director for eight years. Mike was a member of the Governance Task Force that helped us create the current five provinces and Board/RVP structure. He was instrumental in shepherding the Alpha Theta chapter house assets into the Leadership Foundation, resulting in scholarships and grants for Cincinnati brothers every year. Mike also provides much appreciated council and historical prospective to Executive Director Bill Schilling on a frequent basis. 

Silver Helmets

Philip D. Almquist, Bentley, has been an active alumni member of both Boston and Philadelphia Alumni Chapters, serving in multiple roles for both chapters including President, Vice President and Vice President-Chapter Operations. Currently, he is also serving as District Director for the newly installed Omega Chi Chapter at Drexel (PA). Phil is a Foundation donor and has attended nearly every Grand Chapter Congress since 1993. 

Jeffrey A. Blanchard, Kennesaw State (GA), started his years of involvement in Atlanta serving as secretary for the Atlanta Alumni Chapter and District Director for Mercer (GA). During that time he also started dating Kate, St. Thomas (MN), where they attended many local and national events together. When the two got married, at least half of the wedding guests were brothers! After moving to Minneapolis, Jeff joined the Twin Cities (MN) Alumni Chapter, being active with the chapter's annual Toys for Tots drive and recently serving as District Director. He has also served as a member of the North Central Provincial Awards Committee. Jeff and Kate have attended the last three Congresses together, making this Jeff's seventh. They also regularly support the Leadership Foundation. 

Nancy Brunton, Akron (OH), is active with the Cleveland-Akron Alumni Chapter and has attended a number of national events including five Grand Chapter Congresses. In addition to her own involvement, Nancy has been a large supporter of her husband, Alan Brunton, Akron (OH), as he has served as Regional Vice President, District Director, Alumni Chapter President and more. Together, they also financially support the Leadership Foundation. 

Michelle J. Cain, Troy (AL), is a Golden Council member, having served as the Central Gulf Regional Vice President from 2001 until 2009. She is an active member of the Birmingham-Magic City Alumni Chapter, previously serving as the chapter's VP-Collegiate Relations, VP-Finance and Secretary. She has also been a District Director for chapters at Alabama, Troy (AL) and West Florida and served on both the National Scholastic Development and Awards Committee and the Southern Provincial Awards Committee. Michelle is also a Leadership Foundation donor and has attended nearly 40 events, including every Congress since 1995. 

Stacy Jordan
, Georgia Southern, has stayed active since initiation in a number of roles from District Director to Foundation Trustee, both roles she still holds today! She is an active dues paying member of DC Metro Alumni Chapter, having served in officer roles for both DC Metro and Atlanta Alumni Chapters. Stacy has been a District Director for Georgia Southern, Georgia College & State and Georgia State and currently for George Washington and Bowie State Colony. Stacy is a Golden Council member for serving as Capital Regional Vice President from 2009 until 2011 and has volunteered her time for the National Alumni Development and Community Service Committees, chaired the Northeastern Provincial Alumni Development and Community Service committees. Brother Jordan has attended nearly 100 national events, including every Grand Chapter Congress since 1995 and has participated in over 10 chapter installation/reactivations. 

Kyle E. Junk, Penn State-Erie, started his years of service as a District Director for Penn State-State College. He then started volunteering for the Leadership Foundation, first as a committee member, then as a Trustee from 2012-2016. During that same time he served as President and Vice President to the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter. Kyle has attended 25 national events including nine Grand Chapter Congresses (including this one) and has been recognized as a Benefactor for more than $25,000 of giving to the Leadership Foundation. 

Terri L. Kane, Buffalo, is a Golden Council member, having served as the Allegheny Regional Director. Most recently, Terri served as Pledge Educator and District Director for St. John Fisher (NY) while they were a colony and is still DD for the chapter. She has also served on the Leadership Foundation's Scholarship Selection Team since 2016 and regularly donates to the Leadership Foundation. She also attends national events when able - this is her ninth Grand Chapter Congress.

Gina M. OkeksinskiGeorgia State, has been an active member of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter, including serving as President, VP-Chapter Operations and Director of Community Service. During that time, she also took the opportunity to mentor many collegiate chapters. She is an ongoing donor to the Leadership Foundation and helped coordinate the Kappa Chapter/Daniel E. Plaster Scholarship for the members of Georgia State. Gina has also attended a number of national events, including six other Grand Chapter Congresses.

Donna S. ZachmanNorth Florida, was a member and officer of the Charlotte (NC) Alumni Chapter until 2004, when she became a member of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter. There she served as Vice President-Professional Activities, during which the chapter won the national award for Most Outstanding Professional Activities each year. In 2018, Atlanta presented her with the Bob Busse Service Award for significant service to Delta Sigma Pi and the community. She has also served as District Director for South Carolina and Wingate, earning her the Regional District Director of the Year for Mid-Atlantic Region in 2003. Donna also assisted in the founding of Xi Sigma (Wingate) and Omicron Pi (Radford). Together, Donna and Kevin donate to the Leadership Foundation and have attended nearly 30 events together, including every Grand Chapter Congress since 1995. 

Kevin L. ZachmanGrand Valley State (MI), began his years of srevice as a chapter consultant at the Central Office. After moving to Charlotte, he became active with the Alumni Chapter there where he served as Alumni Chapter President and District Director for Virginia Tech and Xi Sigma, where he helped found the chapter, earning him the Regional District Director of the Year for the South Central Region in 2001. He was Mid Atlantic Regional Vice President from 2001 until 2003, later moving to the Atlanta area where he joined the Atlanta Alumni Chapter and served as District Director for Georgia and Georgia College & State. Congress holds a special place in his heart - he proposed to his wife, Donna, at a Grand Chapter Congress!
