In January 1957, with 90% of its membership voting in favor on a mail-in ballot, Delta Sigma Pi’s brotherhood righted a wrong and allowed racial inclusivity within the organization. Today, we’re proud of the accomplishments over 300,000 brothers of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds have made. Tosin Odesanya is a sterling example of our numerous Black members who have enriched our Fraternity, Leadership Foundation and our nation with their talents and work ethic.

Tosin Odesanya, Georgia Southern, has launched a career that has soared since his days as a technical-support specialist while an undergraduate at GSU. After working as a technical sales specialist for IBM, he became a supply and distribution systems manager and special project manager for RaceTrac Petroleum, a senior manager for global integrated processes for Walmart, a senior manager for multi-channel marketing and business innovations and director of digital and access operations for Sam’s Club, and SVP, head of digital self servicing for Citi. Currently, he works as SVP, head of strategy and transformation for Synchrony (NYSE: SYF), a $17 billion-plus annual revenue consumer financial services company.

Brother Odesanya has also played a vital role in support of the Fraternity and Leadership Foundation. He serves as a Leadership Foundation Trustee, helping steward the organization to growth and prosperity. He also contributed to the education and professional development of several generations of Deltasigs in facilitating a Washington DC LEAD School presentation, “Innovator’s Mind: Driving Business Transformation”, which addressed developing an “innovator’s mindset” to apply methodologies that businesses can use to disrupt their markets and grow businesses.

Tosin received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Georgia Southern University. He resides in Frisco, Texas, with his wife Lauret (also a Deltasig), and children Morayo and Demilade.
