Nearly 200 chapter presidents gathered in St. Louis January 13-15 for the 5th Annual Presidents' Academy. Our chapter leaders were eager to learn, share their challenges and successes, and support their peers using resources provided at the event. Enthusiastic engagement and a strong commitment to education defined the weekend. The attendees' energy and connectedness will help the Fraternity develop lifelong leaders, networks and friends.
Presidents participated in interactive sessions that addressed personality styles; motivation and accountability; understanding organizational purpose and principles; strategic planning theories; navigating difficult conversations; leading like a facilitator, dining etiquette and more. Keynote speaker Frank Viverito, President of the St. Louis Sports Commission, inspired all with messages of sportsmanship, humility, leadership, giving back and making a difference – all qualities Presidents’ Academy seeks to impart.
There is no doubt lessons and brotherhood shared over a busy, productive weekend will benefit the attendees, their chapters, and all Deltasigs for years to come.
