After discussing reports, key actions taken include:
- Elected Beth Keith Chair, Shawn Gregory Vice Chair and Jeanine Triplett Secretary and Treasurer.
- Approved the 2022-2023 Budget for the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation. Noted a record year of fundraising for 2021-22!
- Welcomed Shane Borden and Sandy Shoemaker as new Trustees.
- Approved the recipients of the 2022 academic scholarships, as selected by the Scholarship Selection Team.
- Appointed Beth Keith, Shawn Gregory, Joelle Berlat and Jeanine Triplett (non-voting) to the 2022-2023 Executive Committee. An additional Executive Committee member to be announced in the coming weeks.
- Appointed Sandy Shoemaker (Advancement), Tim Augustine (Major Gifts Sub-Committee), Shawn Gregory (Audit), Mitch Simmons (Board Development & Nomination), Joelle Berlat (Finance) and Shane Borden (Scholarship and Grant) as 2022-2023 Committee Chairs.
- Identified future goals, objectives and strategies.
- Approved investment direction (within policy) from financial advisor Aaron Berger (Merrill Lynch).
- Reviewed recommendations from the Scholarship and Grant Committee, referring several for further development without official action.
- Named Jeff Briggs and Bill Schilling as Trustee Emeriti.
