Congratulations to National COY Brennen Feder!

Feb 17, 2021 – Brennen Feder, Arizona, was announced as National Collegian of the Year during the Virtual 2021 Spring LEAD.

Brennen FederHe was recognized for exemplifying the spirit of Delta Sigma Pi, garnering the top honor for collegiate members. Brennen's involvement in the Fraternity spans across numerous executive positions and committees -- including: 
  • Gamma Psi (Arizona) President (November 2019 - November 2020)
  • Desert Mountain Regional COVID-19 Task Force Chair (March 2020 - November 2020)
  • National COVID-19 Task Force Member (June 2020 - September 2020)
  • Gamma Psi (Arizona) SVP (April 2019 - November 2019)
Brennen has attended numerous events, including recently the 2019 Grand Chapter Congress, 2020 Presidents' Academy, 2020 Virtual LEAD School and 2021 Virtual Spring LEAD. He has attended meetings of the Board of Directors, Virtual Town Halls, and has presented at Fraternity events including a recent webinar - Making Brothers Feel Motivated, Valued and Supported

Brennen is pursuing a bachelor's of science of business administration in business management and a bachlor's of science in education, leadership, literacy and learning, with minors in business administration and adolescents, community and education. He is expected to graduate in May of this year, building upon work experience at companies like The Coca-Cola Company and Procter & Gamble. Brother Feder is the Founder and Chair of the Eller LGBTQ+ Advisory Board since 2018, facilitating events to educate faculty about LGBTQ+ issues and successfully lobbied for a gender inclusive restroom. 

In a video addressed to his fellow Deltasigs, Brennen discussed what he hopes to accomplish serving a two-year term on the Delta Sigma Pi Board of Directors: "Delta Sigma Pi has truly been the foundation of my college experience, and I am so looking forward to the opportunity to pay it forward. I promise to listen with an open mind to all of your feedback, both good and bad. I promise to make myself available to you, to lend a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen. I promise to amplify your voice, instead of speaking on your behalf. Your voice is powerful, and I have the great privilege to use mine to help others year yours."
