Foundation Volunteer Leaders Appointed

Oct 30, 2020 – The Board of Trustees of the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation appointed its volunteer leaders for 2020-2021 as part of the Foundation’s Annual Meeting in September.

  • Larry Van Quathem and Tim Augustine were appointed Advancement Committee Co-Chairs and will focus on fundraising, stewardship and engagement.
  • Shawn Gregory was appointed Audit Committee Chair and will focus on the Foundation's annual audit and internal controls.
  • Beth Keith was appointed Board Development & Nominations Committee Chair and will focus on Trustee recruitment, board training and the volunteer development program.
  • Jeff Briggs was appointed Finance Committee Chair and will focus on budgeting, financial management and investments.
  • Mike Vitale was appointed Scholarship & Grants Committee Chair and will focus on the allocation of grants and academic scholarships.

The Committee Chairs assumed office at the adjournment of the Foundation’s 2020 Annual Meeting and will serve until the adjournment of the 2021 Annual Meeting scheduled to take place in advance of the Fraternity’s Grand Chapter Congress in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Foundation’s 2020-2021 Executive Committee consists of Randy Hultz, Jeff Briggs, Tim Augustine, Beth Keith, and Tyler Wash (ex officio, non-voting). The Executive Committee is responsible for monitoring the overall operations of the Foundation in the interim between meetings of the board.

“I am looking forward to working with these brothers in their various leadership roles,” said President & Chair Randy Hultz. “We have a highly motivated group of Trustees that have a desire to move Delta Sigma Pi forward. We thank them for their service and look forward to a productive year.”

The Foundation’s committees continue to provide opportunities for the organization to foster and develop talent in order to keep the leadership pipeline full. Involving more people, allowing volunteers to use their specialized skills or interests, and addressing work in right-sized groups make committees a very real asset.
