2020-21 Chapter Finances

Aug 21, 2020 – While the academic year ahead brings uncertainty and unique challenges, Delta Sigma Pi is committed to supporting our chapter's success.

A critical part of that support is helping chapters decrease their financial liabilities for the fall. The Board of Directors made decisions (noted below) that lower overall costs to our chapters while still being able to provide valuable programs and resources during these difficult times.

  • National Dues: National dues will remain at $42.50 per collegiate member per fall and spring term. The Board approved the 2020-21 budget with a dues increase on March 26, but reversed the increase on May 22 to further help chapters during this time.
  • Dues Late Fees: Late fee payments for dues ($2.50 per members) were extended from 30 to 60 days.
  • Regalia Fees: The $25 installment for fall 2020 was suspended.
  • Grand Chapter Congress Travel Fund: The $100 collegiate chapter contributions for fall 2020 were suspended.
  • Initiation Late Fees: Late fee payments for initiation fees ($25 per initiate) were extended from 14 to 30 days.
  • Overdue Balances: 12% interest charges on balances past due 30 days continue to be suspended.
For the full summary of fees and dues, review the Notice of Fraternity Operations for 2020-21. We've also prepared this historical analysis of national dues for more details.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP! Chapters needing assistance should contact the Fraternity's accounting department at accounting@dsp.org so we may work with you to set up a payment strategy that will meet your needs.
