Truman State (MO), was an Educational and Leadership Consultant from 1992-1994, visiting approximately 120 chapters across the U.S. After finishing his term, he returned home to St. Louis, volunteering
as District Director for Alpha Chi (Washington-St. Louis) and was recognized as DD of the Year in 1995. One of Jim's proudest moments was motivating five brothers from Alpha Chi to attend their first Grand Chapter Congress in Orlando, FL. In those years,
he has been in several Deltasig weddings, and served as VP-Membership for the St. Louis Alumni Chapter (SLAC), and hosting several seminars for the SLAC Career Day, revolving around interviewing, resumes and career advice. Yet that's really where his
Deltasig story paused, as Brother Leingang has been focused on his family (spending time with his wife Andrea and their two sons Noah and Owen), along with his career and community efforts. Professionally, Jim has been in the staffing/recruiting industry
for the last 24 years, and is locally and nationally recognized as one of the top Account Managers, and an expert in interviewing. Despite the challenges of COVID, Jim has hired or helped 43 IT/digital professionals get back to work this year, and/or
change the station of their life. He has also volunteered with Junior Achievement, the Alzheimer's Association, and the St. Patrick's Center (homeless shelter in St. Louis) and their Veterans 5K Run. More about Jim can be found at:
