Grants are provided by the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation to the Fraternity which in turn results in lower registration fees for all attendees. Community Service:

Stop by the Community Service table at LEAD to participate in a variety of service opportunities!

Bring your Pop Tabs! We will donate all collected pop tabs to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh. They collect aluminum pop tabs year-round, and the recycling of these tabs generates necessary income to allow them to continue to serve children and families in Pittsburgh.

We’ll also be collecting items from the RMHC Pittsburgh Wish List.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society – Plan to stop by the Community Service table and buy orange ribbons for $1 each. All proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of Riley, 7 year old son of longtime volunteers Arnel Balcita and Barbara Dreves, both Penn State-Erie, who is fighting Leukemia.

Valentine’s Day! Make a Valentine’s Day card for a resident at Kemper House, which is dedicated to caring for individuals with all stages and all types of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Professional Development:

Alumni will be available at the Professional Development table in Pittsburgh. Volunteers will be reviewing resumes and LinkedIn profiles and offer suggestions on how you can improve both to better convey your strengths and skills to potential employers. Drop off your profile to be proofed while you’re attending sessions!
